My work is grounded in light.

I work with film because of its superior texture and depth of contrast and color.

When I shoot portraits I want to create an image that  reveals something soulful,  almost revelatory about the person.  I want you to be truly seen as yourself. Perhaps for the first time.

The best work is made through respect, understanding and collaboration. The trust we build together is vital to the success of the finished work.

I embrace contrast. Images should be both light and filled with darkness. The difference between those extremes creates a space for understanding.

I work with both stills and motion.  Some things I want you to see as an image, others require movement. My motion work can be viewed here.
